The WWW Awards, invites
all commercial and personal sites to apply. We ask a few
things before submitting your site to the WWW Awards.
(A)
Reading and acknowledging the criteria used in the Program
(B) Honoring the commitment to proudly display these
Awards on the winning URL. (C) You must be the Webmaster
or owner of the site you are submitting for a WWW Award. (D)
International sites must offer an English translation,
in order for us to be able to read the content on your site.
Some
parties do not give these four requirements the respect they
deserve and consequently, The WWW Awards is disappointed
each month NOT to be able to give some excellent Sites the
credit they deserve - simply because these simple items were
not followed. Please read our criteria carefully.
AAward from the WWW Awards must be EARNED and all
criteria must be met.
In order
to comply with
C.O.P.P.A.
you must be at least 13 years of age to nominate a Web
title. However, The WWW Awards requires applicants to be
at least 18 years of age.

Applicants must agree with the following rules before applying to The
WWW Awards:
* Applicants understand
that not ALL submissions win an Award. Applicants,
who do not win an award, may submit their sites again after
30 days of the initial application, if significant
improvements have been made to their sites.

By submitting your URL to the
WWW Awards you are agreeing to have your winning URL
publicly listed on our "Award Winners" page.
*You understand that
Award Graphics may not be altered in any way shape or
form, without written consent, from The World Wide Web
Awards. Altering our awards without written consent, can
result in your link removed from our winner's page.
*Applicants, whom refuse
the award they have won from the WWW Awards, will be banned
permanently from applying for our awards in the future. No
exceptions!

Reasons a
site may be disqualified
We do not accept sites that
are offensive to others.
We do
not accept sites that
contain profanity, hatred,
propaganda, racism, warez,
nudity, gambling, hacking
activities, use of tobacco
products, drugs, violence,
firearms, weapons,
degradation, harm, slander,
cult activity, pet pages,
personal home pages,
vampirism, witch craft, gang
related activity,
role-playing (fantasy). We
prefer not to review these
types of sites.
We do
not accept sites that are
not family safe.
We do not accept sites that
are not in English or have
an English translation
option.
We do not accept E- commerce
sites which sell products on
an un-secure server.
We do
not accept multiple
submissions for the same
URL.
We do not accept sites that
contains more then two popup
ads per page. (unrelated to
your sites content).
We do not accept sites that
display popup windows, that
causes error messages.
(example, free hosting
popups)
We do
not accept sites with typos
in the URL you are
submitting which lead to a
dead, broken or 404 error
messages.
We do not accept sites that
which will freeze our
browser.
We do not accept sites that
contain browser traps.
We do not accept sites that
are pre-designed templates
and not your original work.
We do not accept sites that
contain less then 10 pages
of quality content.
We do not accept sites that
require a password to view
all pages.
We do
not accept sites that
require visitors to download
programs or plug-ins to view
your site.
We do
not accept sites that "Under
Construction"
.
We do
not accept sites that fail
to give credit when using
someone else's graphics or
content. (Infringing on
another's copyrights)
We do not accept sites that
fail to display the awards
they've won.
We do not accept sites that
manipulate our award
graphics or others, without
permission.
We do not accept sites that
displays bandwidth theft.(
Cutting and pasting
another's graphics or
content into your site).
We do not accept sites that
are pointer pages.
We do not accept sites that
do not enclose a
"description" of your
website, in the application
form.
We do not accept free
hosting sites such as
geocities or groups.msn.com
sites.
We do not accept sites that
contain
Forums
Or Message Boards. We
have no way to monitor your
message boards or any
questionable comments that
your visitors may leave on
message boards.
We do
not accept sites that
enclose an incorrect email
address, submitted in
application. (If we try and
notify you of your award
status and your notification
is returned to us, with
invalid email address, we
will not list your site on
our winners list). Your
site will be disqualified.
