The Platinum Award represents The World's Best Sites.  The winning site has excelled our criteria and expectations and had a score of 100 plus points.  A Platinum Award winning site is error free from broken links and error messages.  Correct use of Meta Tags and ALT tags has been used, which most search engines have picked up on "keywords" used in the "Meta Tags".  This site uses advanced features,

scripts and coding.  It is fast loading and viewable in any browser settings.  Graphic Design are of the highest quality and original works of art created by the site designer.  The Platinum Award Site truly stands out and represents at least 100 percent of original content and design.  Its design and creativeness is incredible and and truly stands out from the rest!

The Gold Award represents Web Presence at its best.  To achieve this award is truly an honor.  The winning site has scored between 90 and 100 points, which was not an easy task.  A Gold award winning site is error free from broken links and error messages of any kind. Correct use of Meta tags and ALT tags have been used, which most search engines have picked up on "keywords" used in   the "Meta

Tags".  This site uses advanced features, scripts and coding. Graphic Design is of the highest quality and original works of art, created by the site designer.  The Gold Award site represents at least 95 percent of original content and creativity and provides outstanding design and layout of website.  Its content is something that will interest any and all visitors, who visit their site.

The Silver Award represents outstanding web site design, interesting content and is user friendly with easy navigation. The winning site has scored between 80 and 89 points, which is not easy to do.  A Silver award winning site is also error free from broken links and error messages of any kind. This site is well organized and uses some advanced features, such as flash or java scripting.  

The Silver award site represents at least 80 percent of original design and graphics, as well as provides quality information for its visitors

The Bronze Award represents good layout and design and is user friendly for its visitors. The winning site has scored between 60 and 79 points. Although this site does not always use advanced features, it is a well presented and organized site.  The Bronze award site represents at least 70 percent of original content and creativity and provides its visitors with a pleasant presentation of its site or company

information.  Bronze award winners should be very proud to win this award, for more than 40 percent of applicant's have not reached this level of design.

New Award - The recipient of this award, must achieve a score between 60-100 points of our General Criteria.   Design, content, navigation and scripting, still applies to receive this award.  This site must be a PATRIOTIC website, in the form of a theme, content, poems, stories, etc.  Government, state, local, city, police, fire, etc, may also apply if the website consist of a patriotic theme or content.  A "PATRIOTIC" website does not mean that the site has to

display USA pride only.  A "PATRIOTIC" site may be love for /or devotion to one's country!

New Award - Humanitarian Award.   The recipient of this award, must achieve a score between 60-100 points of our General Criteria.   Design, content, navigation and scripting, still applies to receive this award.  The Humanitarian website consist of the following content:   Devotion and promotion of human welfare, "respect and humanistic regard for all members of our species."

Webmaster Winner - Announced In December!

Each year, our judging panel selects a "Webmaster of the Year".  This is not an award you can apply for, however, any and all sites submitted to the WWW Awards this year, will automatically become eligible to secure our coveted Webmaster of the Year Award when it is announced in December every year.  The "Webmaster of the Year" is a site that has exceeded all expectations in our criteria and is truly"Best of the Best".  Many benefits will follow winning this award; for the winner receives a  full page dedication on our site with a screen shot, description and link, which remain up on our site permanently.  They also receive a one of a kind Award graphic and also sent a "Free" Webmaster of the

 Year, Award Certificate, mounted on a 10x13 plaque.  The winner will be announced on our site on December 15th each year and will also be notified via email.

For Visually Impaired Websites

Award Graphic FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED APPLICANTS

The WWW Awards has implemented a special award section to our award program for applicants who have visual impairments or visually impaired websites.  These sites will be judged on "content, navigation and user friendliness.  A total of 45 points are need to receive an award.  This site may display large graphics and text as well as different size browser settings.  The winning site displays excellent content and offers something interesting to the internet community.  The winning site is also user friendly and a family safe site for all to enjoy.
