How do our submissions work?

All billing is done automatically through credit card transaction. Please note that the secure server will not be active until you reach the actual Order Form page and are requested to input your credit card information. If paying by credit card, please note, your credit card statement will read: From The American Association Of Webmasters). After you have ordered a submission, please send us the following information to: awards@worldwidewebawards.net , subject: "search engine submission.

1. Your First and Last Name.
2. Your full address with zip code. (Country Included)
3. Title Of Your Website
4. URL/web address. Example: www.yourdomain.com
5. Your main email address (where we will send your submissions text report to).
6. An alternative email address (one you do not use often). World wide submissions, usually result in an enormous amount of bulk mail sent to you. (Un-avoidable). This is why we suggest an alternative valid email. (must be a valid email address or submission will fail). We recommend you use this email address instead of your main email address to avoid the hassle of receiving bulk email (due to submission to 600,000+ engines and links) to your main email address. You may consider making up an extra email address for this purpose. (for submissions only).
7. Telephone number, plus area code. (Your phone number is for submission purpose only and is a requirement). Your phone number will not be listed in the engines.
8. Please provide us with 3 main "keywords". Be careful choosing these keywords. Our submission software allows us only to use 3 keywords while submitting your site, however, you may insert as many keywords in your "meta tags" on your index page, as you would like. The engines will also pick up on the keywords in your meta tags, if the tags are free of errors.

Please allow up to 2 to 6 weeks for your submission to reach the engines. (Remember, the submission takes time to cross the globe). We will provide you a full text report, sent to you via email of the success of your submission. The submissions report will contain a profile, a list of the search engines, link pages and FFA directories your site has been submitted to. Your report will show successful submissions as well as failed submissions.

We literally submit your site to 75,000+ engines, but this does not mean that every single engine or link submission will be a success. We do guarantee success to most major search engines including: Yahoo, Excite, Google, Web Crawler, Lycos, MSN, HotBot, Altavista. This includes international major search engines. We do not guarantee ranking or what pages in the engines your site will be listed. We are not a marketing company, but use the same submission software as they use and is why we are able to submit your site for hundreds of dollars less then what a marketing company will charge you. There are NO refunds for search engine submissions, once we have submitted your site to the engines.

Please choose "keywords" carefully. Meta Tags are very important factors in the success of your site making it to the search engines. If we submit your site to search engines and you have not inserted meta tags into the html of your index page, chances are the engines may skip over finding your site, when doing keyword searches in browsers or on search engines. META Tags are hidden text placed in the HEAD section of your HTML page that are used by most major search engines to index your site based on your keywords and descriptions. It is very important to use META Tags as well as a good TITLE if you expect to be found in most search engines. Note that META Tags are not the only thing search engines will look at when ranking your sites; also, some search engines will ignore META Tags completely. Most search engines will also index your body text.
