Surflocal is a powerfully designed Presentation advertising program that allows businesses to advertise on a local, regional and national level. With over 1800 cities in 52 states and 5 US territories across the Surflocal.Net  system,  Surflocal is able to effectively market your business to your sales area at a fraction of the cost of a standard advertising campaign.  You can literally market your business cost-effectively to every city in your sales area and even expand your sales territory to a larger scale.

Seven years ago, my husband put a computer in front of me and said, "Learn this."  It was at that moment that I knew I had ALOT of work ahead of me....
I am 41 years old and married to the love of my life, David Prescott, 15 years on Dec 6th of this year. Dave &  I  have two girls, Alexandra Faith (12) and Alexis Joy (10); who we home school with the A-Beka college prep curriculum.  We own and operate surflocal.net, an area-wide presentation platform with an easy web site creator.  We are both members of the Rotary Club of Amarillo, I serve as club webmaster and Dave serves as club Media Development.  When PDG T. Paige Carruth (past district governor and our lifetime club secretary) asked us to lunch that first time, we thought we were "Going to the Sizzler".  Instead, we went to the Amarillo Country Club to our first rotary meeting.  After taking a good look at the club, and seeing first-hand what rotary is all about, we knew that this particular project was special.  So special that when we were invited to join the club a few months later, and given the committee chair of the 'web site', we said, "Can't touch this!".  Dave helped me catch the vision on the layout and development, and the rest just evolved from spending time in the club, learning how rotary serves the community, and wanting to "show off" my web skills to my new friends.
In all honesty, without Dave's vision and drive, I would more than likely not have received this award. I always like to say that separately, we are probably just a couple of "yah-hoos", but together, we make one really great person!
